Food Pantry

Brothers and sisters, good evening. As you may have heard already that our church will be closed until further notice starting tomorrow.

Although the church will be closed on Sabbaths until further notice, we still have the food pantry to deal with on Sundays! It’s times like these that the community will need our help! With that said, the food pantry will be open for food distribution in a special way on Sunday. One reason also is the fact that there are so much perishable items being stored.

To be able to do this special distribution we will need volunteers on Saturday evening after 6pm to do prepackaging of these food items to distribute on Sunday. Volunteers will also still be needed on Sunday morning. The leaders will not be opening up the building as usual for folks to come through as normal. We are planning to set up outside on Sundays to distribute the items. We are asking you to please make an effort on Saturday evening and/or Sunday morning to come out and lend a hand.

Necessary protection gears and sanitary/disinfectant items will be available for all volunteers if needed on both Saturday evening and Sunday mornings.

Again, thanks for your help and may God continue to provide for and protect you and your families!

We will also be providing you links to COVID-19 preventative measures specifically given by the Centers For Decease Control and Prevention (CDC) for home, school, work and other gatherings.
